What is a “Phantom DJ”?
A Phantom DJ player is simply an MP3 device preloaded with curated, professionally mixed DJ playlists. It delivers a continuous, seamless music experience—just like a live DJ—without requiring any mixing or equipment.

👉 This guide walks you through a quick, step-by-step setup so you can get your event up and running in minutes.

What This Guide Covers

  • How to power on and use the Phantom DJ player
  • Connecting the MP3 player to your transmitter
  • Setting proper volume levels
  • Starting playback and broadcasting audio
  • Basic troubleshooting tips

Step 1: Power On the MP3 Player

Locate the power button on the bottom of the Phantom DJ player and turn the device on.

Once powered, the screen will activate and display the device interface.

Step 2: Select Music Playback Mode

On the screen, look for the music icon in the top left corner and select it to enter playback mode.

This will allow you to access and play the preloaded tracks stored on the device.

Step 3: Connect to Your Transmitter

Use a standard 3.5mm AUX audio cable to connect the Phantom DJ player to your SILENCE transmitter.

  • Plug one end into the MP3 player
  • Plug the other end into the transmitter input

Once connected, your audio signal will be ready to broadcast to all headphones on the selected channel.

Step 4: Adjust the Volume

Set the MP3 player volume to approximately 90%.

Setting the volume too low can result in weak audio transmission, while max volume may cause distortion. ~90% is the optimal range.

Step 5: Start Playback

Select a track and press play on the MP3 player.

Once playback begins:

  • The audio will be sent to your transmitter
  • Headphones tuned to that channel will receive the signal
  • Your silent disco is now live 🎧

Charging the Device

The charging port is located on the bottom of the MP3 player.

Make sure the device is fully charged before your event to avoid interruptions.
